Released in 1975 when Karl Lagerfeld was the fashion house’s designer, this fragrance, created by perfumer Betty Busse of International Flavors and Fragrances, has head notes of aldehydes, peach, lilac, honeysuckle, orange blossom, hyacinth, ylang-ylang, coconut, and bergamot. Tuberose, carnation, narcissus, jasmine, orris root, and rose heart notes are followed by sandalwood, amber, benzoin, musk, oak moss, and cedar base notes. Founded by Gaby Aghion in 1952, Chloe is a French fashion house that is based in Paris.
