Graham E. Fuller has had a broad and colorful career, from being a CIA operations officer all over the Middle East for two decades, and a top analyst at CIA for global forecasting. He went on to be a senior political scientist at a major West Coast think tank (RAND),and later yet a professor of history at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver. He has written a lot of books about the Middle East--on Islamic fundamentalism, and Arab and Turkish politics. His latest books include the well-received "The Future of Political Islam," and later "A World Without Islam."

His latest book is a personal memoir, Three Truths and a Lie. He is at work on a novel about the Middle East. He currently lives in Squamish BC, and when he's not writing he spends much of his time on bears, eagles and salmon and mountain biking.
